I traded peace of mind for Fendi bags and world travels. I was terrifyingly good at the hustle, even if it meant peddling “empowerment” in a fairness cream jar.

Why does a Scissorbella haircut take 2–3 hours?
She focuses on renovation rather than maintenance. Time is spent understanding your hair’s history, its growth patterns and your habits. Cutting with extreme precision honours your identity.
Why are your prices higher than other salons?
Scissorbella offers longevity. While a standard cut may last from 1 to 6 weeks, a Scissorbella cut may endure for at least 3 to even 12 months. When calculating the “cost per wear” and the time saved each morning, Scissorbella proves to be the economical choice for your lifestyle.
Will you blow-dry my hair straight for a special occasion?
For a haircut, we prefer not to. For an occasion, absolutely. A structural cut should look fantastic without relying on a blow-dry to “fix” it. For a special event, simply book a Wash & Style and we will happily use heat tools to give you the polished look you desire — while respecting your hair’s integrity.
Do you never use heat in your haircuts?
We use heat purely as a technical tool in two instances. For a precision check on straight haircuts, we flat brush or blast dry the hair to expose the structure and identify flaws. For curly hair, Scissorbella uses a diffuser after product application so the final dried shape can be seen in its natural texture.
Do you use only natural products?
We steer clear of trendy greenwashing. Everything is a chemical — including water. Instead of fearing chemistry, we choose to master it. We prioritise conscious chemistry: high-quality, eco-ethical formulations that are effective and safe.
Can I just walk in for a quick trim?
A trim is also a haircut. Even a maintenance session requires Scissorbella’s full attention and precision, so appointments are essential for cuts. Walk-in slots can be available for Wash & Style services.
